- Our renaming feature can be used in many ways. One that some of our ardent players have reported is to change the names of the leading jockeys in the game to current jockey names. In this way, the game takes on a currency where the past performances, entries and results charts now have familiar jockey names. Here's how. When a player gets a stable, the player picks a jockey for the stable from the full list of jockeys and trainers in the game. The leading jockeys ride more than the others, as in live racing. The player can progressively select each one of the leaders to be the stable jockey. When a jockey has been renamed, that name remains on the list even though the stable has renamed another jockey. Doing 10-20 jockeys in this way will then populate the entries with familiar names. Trainers can also be renamed in like manner. The process for renaming is quick and it will take about 10 minutes to accomplish although we had players tell us they renamed all jockeys in the game.
- Players may find our new Casino bets to be an added dimension. If you like the favorite and want to hedge a big bet, you can play the Don't Come; a bet against the favorite. The Over/Under bet is especially attractive as the average odds for all horses are determined and the player can bet all those either above or below that average with a single bet. Or you can play Odd vs Even posts; Inside vs. Outside posts. Give it a try! Or just make all the conventional and exotic bets. They're all there.

For customers who purchased QuarterPole Plus before October 2004, an update file is available. To receive it either as a download or floppy disk, send us an e-mail with the subject 'October 2004 Update' and let us know which you would like. There is no charge.
- To install QuarterPole Plus on the Vista operating system, insert the CD, cancel the autoplay. Right click on Install, open and left click on Properties > Compatability > Run program in mode for Win'XP > Right click on Install, open > Run program as Administrator. The game plays best at a resolution of 1280 X 1024 or lower.
