Fine stained glass used in these custom made Owner's Silks adds a special highlight to any proud owner's room. For commission custom silks, we offer 2 sizes;   13"x16" - $300   17" x 21" - $500. These have a zinc metal frame and are ready for hanging. We work away from a picture of the Owner's silks and provide a sketch for approval. These racing scenes are typical of the variety of racing scenes we've made. The one on the left is "End of winning ride"; the one on the right is "The rider". The ones below are the same scenes as made for Cash is King (no blinkers) and R&D stables showing the custom results. The following scenes, 'At the wire' and 'Big gray's work' are other examples of our racing scenes. Prices depend on size and custom features desired but usually in the $300 - 500 range. We specialize in making stained glass boxes with reproductions of racing subjects in the lid. We can also make boxes with your pictures and scenes. These can be sent to us by mail or by email using .jpeg files. Each box is hand crafted in our studio. The glass selected for the base complements the subject, giving the resulting combination a special and unique feel. Mirror or structured glass bottoms add highlight while corner feet add interest. A fine chain anchors the lid. The usual boxes are 4" x 6" by 1.3" high but can be any desired size. Shown here are boxes made with a paddock picture from merry old England. To the right is a picture of the historic Saratoga race course in 1900. The Studio has numerous racing scenes and race course scenes from throughout the country. In addition to racing scene boxes, the Studio specializes in glass boxes made with pictures from winning owners. We reproduce pictures sent to us and return the originals with the finished boxes or work away from .jpeg files emailed to us. These make for wonderful and functional remembrances.
